Jan Visser jr. (Groningen, 18 October 1856 – Aerdenhout, 23 December 1938) was a Dutch painter. He was best known for his colorful flower still lifes.

Visser followed drawing and painting courses at the Minerva Academy in Groningen, the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam and the ‘Rijksnormaalschool voor Tekenonderwijs’, also in Amsterdam. Later he was a pupil of Johannes Hinderikus Egenberger. He lived and worked in Groningen, Amsterdam, Abcoude and Zandvoort respectively. He was a drawing instructor and later acting director at the National Normal School for Drawing Teachers, where he trained numerous young painters, including Leo Gestel, David Bueno de Mesquita, Johan Herman Isings, Bernard F. Eilers, Hugo Polderman, Jan Ponstijn, Georg Rueter Gerard Johan Staller, Willem Knip, André Flanders, Bart Peizel and Chris Lebeau.

Visser made a name for himself as a painter of colorful flower still lifes, but also made landscapes, portraits and figures, always in style related to Impressionism. He was a versatile artist and also worked as a lithographer, draftsman, environmental artist and moderator.

Visser died in 1938 at the age of 82. His work can be seen at the Frans Hals Museum in Haarlem.
